All Saints Catholic Primary

All Saints Primary in Bootle came to Playsound needing help to overhaul the entire school play facilities, ranging from Early Years to Key Stage 2, and to be staged over a number of months.

The school had a clear vision of what they wanted and along with the Playsound sales and design team, a high quality plan was produced that fulfilled their needs and on budget. The final design included a steel MUGA area with line markings and goals with basketball boards that was for the juniors. In another area of the school, a new log ship was installed with blue wetpour surrounding it to look like water, providing an area for social interaction and role play. Nearby a stage with trellis backdrop allowed a space for drama and theatricals, and a variety of mark making boards made use of blank wall space.

In the reception area a roadway with speed bumps, line markings and a timber bridge gives an area for the young children to ride their trikes. A bridge feature including a crawl through tunnel provides a physical challenge. Close by, pergola with trellis walls and internally a storytellers area provided a quiet area and a resource for teachers at story time.

Opened by footballing legend Jamie Carragher, the school were delighted with the final results, and the following photos are a small snapshot of what was produced. Following on from this, another area at the school was developed into a large sensory garden that helped complete the schools outdoor provisions
