Not all transformations have to include lots of equipment and a total redevelopment of an area to make a difference. For example look at this tractor climbing unit we designed and installed in December of 2021, over at Apple Cast Charity, based in Newburgh Wigan. With the simple use of a cool bespoke themed climbing unit (as seen below), we managed to totally transform an unused area of grass into a fun space for the visiting children to enjoy. The Tractor is constructed using the finest pressure treated timber, two 0.9m high platforms (One with a roof), a connecting walkway, a ramp and rope, HDPE Slide, Rock Ramp with a rope and four decorative tyres to complete the look.
What is Apple Cast? Apple Cast is a charity that helps young people achieve through the sport of angling, horticulture and work based learning. On site they also have an education centre, farm, café, markets, a garden centre and now an amazing Tractor Climber ha ha. We really loved getting involved in the whole progress of this multi-play unit project for such a great charity. We are over the moon with how much Neil and their visitors love it. It has been so lovely to see all of the positive feedback through their social media posts and comments…They even decided on a name for the unit…Check out the posts and photos of ‘Clyde’ via the link below.
