January 2020

Initially, the area was completely full of logs that made up a variety of individual little areas and formations (See the first photo below). The logs really took over the Playground, making it lack practical space and function…So we knew in new design, that all of these defiantly had to go. Once a final design was agreed by the school, it was time to get started on the transformation and a great one at that. Firstly we cleared the area; free of all logs and existing equipment. Doing this gave us a blank canvas for the new tarmac surfacing be laid and the pieces of equipment to be arranged within. The finished playground offers the children a fun and stimulating environment that is filled with Sand Play, Mud Play and Role Play features such as a Teepee, Role Play Cabin, a Stage, Cube Seats and a Car Track with Artificial Grass in the centre. We also installed two different Storage options to give plenty space for when equipment isn’t being used. All of these products together, help the children to develop a wide range of skills. As seen on photos and even a video sent from the teachers over at the school, we can see all of the children love playing and learning in their new transformed space and continue to do so. Which makes doing what we do, so special and worth it.
