Beacon Park in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, is currently under going extensive development works. With stunning views over West Lancashire and Merseyside, Beacon Park is home to a popular golf course and parkland, but West Lancashire Council have plans to turn this area in to a thriving leisure site.
Along with redevelopment of the golf club house and country park offices, the council came to Playsound Services Ltd to build a play area next to the revamped club house. The concept was to encourage children to play within the view of adults who visit for food and drinks. Behind the playground are on-going works to create a new Foot-Golf course
The new playground consists of the HMS Victory, a Split Traverse Wall, Steel Basket Swings, a Cone Climber 1800 and a 4-Way Parrot Springer. Along with rubber shred safety surfacing, the play area has become a huge success. We have been proud to be part of this development and to have provided play equipment for children within the region.
