Golborne Community got in contact with us at Playsound Services to get our help on transforming their now unused and empty grassed space. During a meeting with the school, our sales manager found out that the school wanted to turn this into a more sheltered and functional area for children of different ages to use and enjoy. Taking this on board in our final proposed design, we designed a Fully Enclosed Timber Constructed Outdoor Classroom (12m long x 4m wide). Features include: Timber cladding, Perspex windows on both the front and back and Benches were also added along all the interior edges to make sure it had plenty room for lots of a full class of children to sit to be able to both learn and socialise all together.A Textured Pathway and Artificial Grass surfacing are located at the front of the outdoor classroom with two Log retained bark areas on each side of the classroom. With the use of Seating, Planting and Play Panels, the two bark areas create extra spaces for the children to develop their skills whilst being out in the fresh air. Now what once was an empty plot of grass has been truly transformed for the whole school to enjoy. After completion, we got send photos of the children at Golborne Community loving their new space.
