We’ve done work at St Francis De Sales previously, so we were made up to be asked to come back and revamp another area of theirs. This time it was for the Infants. Before the space was unused, empty, lacked physical activity or any equipment on that note. Physical Play was one of the main feature must haves that the school really wanted within the new design and that is what we gave them.

The overall finished design includes: – Timber Wave Fencing along the back of the space to separate the playground from the existing trees, then on both sides we installed a combination of bespoke timber seating and planters to create a place for the children to both socialise with friends and rest during playtime. In the centre we put four pieces of our physical play equipment a Cube Climber, an A Frame,  a Sleeper Bridge Tunnel and a Trapeze Walk unit. Each of these pieces gives children a different challenge and the chance to build up their physical strength and skills whilst also having plenty of fun too. The before and after of this now completed area is just amazing… if we say so ourselves 😉 *check out the last image below to see the before photo* and we are so pleased with the huge transformation and the fact the children can now enjoy and learn within their new playground.
